Victoria University StudentsTreated To Glitzy VC Dinner

On Saturday it was fun and elegant at La Poroni restaurant along Parliament Avenue as Victoria University students were treated to a glitzy Vice chancellor’s dinner.

As it is its tradition to list its academic giants, Victoria University this time listed several best students for their outstanding performance in their last semester exams.

These were the best performing students with GPA of 4.4 and above.

As a way of motivating them and bringing the tradition to vibrancy, the university hosted the students to a dinner which has gone down in its annuals and cherished by the beneficiaries.

Forty four students of  August -September 2018 intake were treated to this mouthwatering dinner in honor of their previous semester and were also awarded with certificate of achievement.

Also in attendance were the deans of various faculties and the academic registrar who took turns in encouraging the students to pursue academics with seriousness and keep their performances high always.

In his remarks, the Vice chancellor Dr Krishna N Sharma further encouraged the students and reminded them that education should be able to transform the mind and grow in every individual unique ability to enable them succeed in life.

He added that as a university, emphasis on experimental learning is not accidental but rather cautious since the world tomorrow shall require dynamic and flexible citizens ready to solve the challenges of the day case by case.
