Mentoring and Coaching are two words that are used interchangeably. These two are however different and must be clearly understood in order for their use to be effective for both the individual involved and for the organisation as a whole.
Coaching involves giving both support and challenging opportunities to employees.
Mentorship, a part of coaching; is about being a guide, offering wisdom and advice when it is needed.
